Postdoc Positions Available
One postdoctoral position is available in the Schmid lab. The research objective for this positions is to investigate the co-evolution of transcription and metabolic networks in Archaea. The successful candidate should be an experimental biologist with expertise in microbial metabolism, biochemistry, genetics, genomics, metabolomics, or related fields. The candidate will work collaboratively with computational biologists, so excellent scientific communication skills are required. Candidates with training in both computational and experimental biology and/or systems biology are particularly encouraged to apply. Clear evidence of past research productivity is required.

Graduate Student Positions Available
The Schmid lab is currently recruiting students through the Duke Program in Genetics and Genomics (UPGG), Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB), Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (CBB) and Biology programs. Please contact Amy Schmid for information about rotation projects.
